This option is for anglers who are NOT PART OF OUR STANDARD WEEK LONG KAYAK FISHING TRIPS. This is just a one day rental for guests taking part in day trips or any other custom trip at Los Buzos.
You will receive 3 Full Combos including:
Accurate Fury 600 on a custom SLEIGHRIDERS BIG GAME SERIES live bait rod. Daiwa BG 6500 or BGMQ 8000 on a Heavy Spinning rod for jigging, popping and trolling
Daiwa BG or BGMQ 5000 on a Medium 7ft Spinning rod for lighter tackle casting and jigging.
Live bait rig, xps jig, and yo-zuri minnow included. ALL OTHER TACKLE MUST BE PURCHASED FROM THE TACKLE SHOP ON SITE OR BROUGHT WITH YOU.
Combos are distributed the morning of each day of fishing and locked in our tackle room each night.
Spinning reel handles are all able to be changed from right and left handed. However conventional reel handles are mainly right handed with a limited number of left handed options available.
*Leashes are supplied for each rod and are required to be attached at all times! In the event of a lost combo it is difficult to know if it is due to a leash failure or unleashed rod, as well as for a broken rod- it is hard to know if it is due to angler error or rod malfunction. So unless proven to be a gear malfunction, the renter is responsible for covering 65% of the retail price of any lost combo or broken rod. A full set of 3 combos retails about $1600.*
